Sean Miller is the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) of Sensor Industries, the leading AI-powered water conservation company that helps commercial real estate owners detect leaks early, allowing them to avoid costly water damage, reduce water bills and improve the environmental footprint of their buildings.

Prior to joining Sensor Industries, Sean was CEO and Co-Founder of Griot, a communication and knowledge capture tool specifically designed for skilled trades. Preceding Griot, Sean was the President of PointCentral, an Alarm.com subsidiary that pioneered smart property platforms for apartments/MDUs, single family rentals and vacation rentals. During his time at PointCentral, Sean grew the company by over 700% while building the team to over 40 people and driving the business unit to profitability.

Before PointCentral, Sean led Global Sales and Business Development for WeMo, Belkin’s smart home business unit, where he grew the total number of households that had a WeMo by over 3x in less than 24 months. Sean also launched MobileLink, Generac’s first remote monitoring SaaS service that connected the company’s standby generators to customers, dealers and Generac corporation.

Sean has an MBA from Kenan-Flagler at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Occidental College. Sean resides in the Los Angeles area of California with his wife and their two lovely daughters.

Marshall graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing. While he was in college, he started his career in sales. He spent 18 years working for a large publicly traded company and worked his way up to Senior Director of Sales, leading the fastest growing division in the company for the final 4.5 years.

He represented the multifamily industry from 2019-2023 leading a national sales team that deployed over 75k smart apartment units. He is a known figure on the stage, having spoken on over 30 panels focused on PropTech. He has delivered dozens of boardroom presentations to leaders from SFR, BTR and Multifamily firms. He’s since joined a Maine based start-up company in the construction sector, again leading the field sales function.

Over Matt’s 25-year career, he’s worked in various industries such as sports, entrepreneurship, and working in sales leadership in the property technology sector of multifamily real estate industry. Matt’s focus is in start-up and growth stage companies, helping them spearhead rapid growth sales & strategic initiatives, business development, strategic partnerships, and marketing strategy.

Matt is the founder and managing director of Camden Jackson, a consulting and advisory firm specializing in fractional sales leadership and growth strategy. Camden Jackson caters to businesses in the Seed to Series C stage of the startup journey, as well as non-profits and publicly traded companies with new business units aiming for revenue expansion. We provide a range of targeted or comprehensive approaches, with both short and long-term engagements.

Lance is the founder and CEO of EnergyServ Solutions, a firm he has built on a dedication to providing exceptional service, contract negotiations, and energy cost reduction.

Lance began his career with First Choice Power and has more than 15 years of experience in the energy industry. Prior to starting EnergyServ, he served as the VP Sales at AP Gas & Electric, where he led the indirect sales team. Carroll brings 25 years’ experience in hospitality/customer service, food and beverage, hotel management and 10+ years in student housing development. Carroll joined Akara Partners in 2019 as an original team member. Her current role as Director of Leasing and Marketing includes the successful execution of marketing strategies and goals to meet budgeted proforma, operational leasing policies and procedures, staff recruitment, training and motivation, competitor analysis reporting, renewal and resident retention strategies, online reputation management and overall digital presence. She is actively involved in developing and maintaining major employer relationships and community business partnerships.

Most recently, Carroll launched the corporate housing division of Kenect in 2023 which resulted in 3 million dollars in revenue within 4 months of launching the division. This dedicated division provides immediate, all-inclusive housing solutions for groups and corporate clients. She is heavily involved with local community councils, economic groups, chambers, and regular speaking/blog contributions to industry organizations.

He is currently the Senior IT Project Manager at Secure Multi-Family where he continues to build on his track record in the multi-billion-dollar corporate sector.

Prior to his work with Secure Multi-Family, Josh was the Director of IT for Mission Rock Residential and UDR where he oversaw IT operations and applications management as well as security.

Josh specializes in revitalizing IT teams, optimizing processes, enhancing communication, and fostering a culture of innovation to achieve peak performance.
